About this product
If your machine has a steam wand, a proper jug makes the biggest difference to your milk. This De'Longhi stainless steel jug gives the milk room to spin, so you get fine, glossy microfoam instead of big bubbles.
The tapered spout lets you pour slowly and with control, which is what latte art needs. The handle stays comfortable while you steam, and the steel is rust-resistant and easy to clean.
It suits La Specialista, Dedica and any machine with a manual steam wand.
A few tips
Start with cold milk from the fridge in a cold jug: it gives you longer to texture the milk before it gets too hot. Whole milk is the easiest to learn on. Purge the steam wand before and after, and wipe it straight away so milk does not bake on.
How to use it
- Pour cold milk to just below the base of the spout.
- Put the steam wand just under the surface and turn the steam on.
- Keep the tip near the surface until the milk grows by a third, then lower it to spin the milk.
- Stop when the jug is too hot to hold, tap and swirl, then pour.

Which machines is it for?
Any machine with a steam wand, such as La Specialista, Dedica or a Magnifica with a manual wand. Machines with an automatic milk carafe do not need one.
How full should I fill it?
To just below where the spout starts. Milk grows as you froth it, and you need room to swirl.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it straight after use and wash with warm soapy water. Stainless steel does not hold smells.
