About this product
A genuine De'Longhi two-cup filter basket, part DLSC401, for pump espresso machines such as the Dedica. It is a pressurised basket, which helps you get a good crema even with pre-ground coffee or a grind that is not quite right.
Use it to replace a dented or lost basket, or keep a spare so you can make two drinks in a row. It is easy to clean: knock out the puck, rinse and dry.
Pressurised or not?
A pressurised basket has a single small hole underneath that builds pressure for you, so it is forgiving of the grind and tamp. It is the right choice with pre-ground coffee. If you grind fresh and want more control, a non-pressurised basket rewards a careful grind and tamp.

Will it fit my machine?
It is made for De'Longhi pump espresso machines with a 51mm filter holder, such as the Dedica. It is not for bean-to-cup machines or La Specialista. Check the part number DLSC401 in your manual if you are unsure.
Why replace a filter basket?
Baskets get dented, blocked or lost. A fresh basket gives an even extraction again, and a second one means you can make two drinks back to back.
How do I clean it?
Knock out the grounds, rinse under the tap and let it dry. Clear the small hole underneath now and then.
What if it is not right?
