About this coffee

Bright & Breezy is the bag to buy if you are not sure what you like yet. It is a house blend of Central American beans, roasted light to medium, and it tastes smooth and rounded with gentle chocolate and hazelnut.

It is medium strength, so it makes a mellow long coffee and a pleasant cappuccino without ever tasting bitter. Plenty of people drink it from breakfast to after dinner.

Brewing it

It works in a bean-to-cup machine, a cafetière or a filter brewer. If you want more punch in milk drinks, set your machine's strength one step higher rather than grinding finer.

Miles have roasted coffee in Porlock, on the edge of Exmoor in Somerset, for well over a century. They roast in small batches, and we send every bag from our own warehouse in Minehead with free tracked delivery.

Is it whole bean or ground?

Whole bean. Grind just before you brew, or let your bean-to-cup machine do it for you. It comes in 227g and 1kg bags. The 1kg bag is the better value if you drink coffee every day.

Will Bright & Breezy Coffee Beans suit my bean-to-cup machine?

Yes. It is a dry, light-to-medium roast that runs cleanly through any bean-to-cup grinder.

How long does a 1kg bag last?

A bean-to-cup machine uses roughly 7 to 14g of beans a drink, depending on the strength you set. So 1kg makes about 70 to 140 drinks: around a month at three or four coffees a day.
