About this coffee

If you want one coffee that works for everything your machine makes, start here. Miles Italian Espresso is a classic Italian-style blend roasted medium-dark. Expect dark chocolate first, a hint of orange zest, and very little sharpness.

As an espresso it is sweet and full. In a cappuccino or latte the chocolate carries through the milk instead of disappearing, which is why so many bean-to-cup owners settle on it.

How to get the best from it

In a De'Longhi bean-to-cup, start on the middle grind setting and a medium strength, then go one step finer if the coffee runs fast and tastes thin. It also suits a moka pot.

Is it whole bean or ground?

Whole bean. Grind just before you brew, or let your bean-to-cup machine do it for you. It comes in 227g and 1kg bags. The 1kg bag is the better value if you drink coffee every day.

Will Italian Espresso Coffee Beans suit my bean-to-cup machine?

Yes. It is roasted for espresso and is one of the most popular choices for De'Longhi and other bean-to-cup machines. Start on the middle grind setting and adjust one step at a time.

How long does a 1kg bag last?

A bean-to-cup machine uses roughly 7 to 14g of beans a drink, depending on the strength you set. So 1kg makes about 70 to 140 drinks: around a month at three or four coffees a day.
