About this coffee

Rich & Reviving is for people who like their coffee strong and are not shy of a little bitterness. It is Miles' dark house blend, roasted for longer to bring out deep, bittersweet chocolate with a hint of toasted hazelnut.

Because the flavour is so firm, it is a good pick for milky drinks. A flat white or latte keeps its coffee taste instead of turning into warm milk.

Good to know

If you find it too intense as a straight espresso, try it as an Americano, or look at Espresso Velouté, which is just as rich but smoother.

Miles have roasted coffee in Porlock, on the edge of Exmoor in Somerset, for well over a century. They roast in small batches, and we send every bag from our own warehouse in Minehead with free tracked delivery.

Is it whole bean or ground?

Whole bean. Grind just before you brew, or let your bean-to-cup machine do it for you. It comes in 227g and 1kg bags. The 1kg bag is the better value if you drink coffee every day.

Will Rich & Reviving Coffee Beans suit my bean-to-cup machine?

Yes. It is a dark roast, so keep the bean hopper lid closed and rinse the brew unit weekly, as you would with any dark coffee.

How long does a 1kg bag last?

A bean-to-cup machine uses roughly 7 to 14g of beans a drink, depending on the strength you set. So 1kg makes about 70 to 140 drinks: around a month at three or four coffees a day.
