About this product
The DLSC002 is De'Longhi's own water filter for their bean-to-cup machines. It sits in the water tank and softens the water before it reaches the boiler, so limescale builds up more slowly and your coffee tastes cleaner.
Each filter lasts about two months. Turn the date dial to the month it is due, switch it on in your machine's menu, and the machine will remind you.
Will it fit?
It fits Magnifica S, Magnifica Evo, Magnifica Start, Dinamica, Rivelia, Eletta, PrimaDonna and Maestosa machines, and other De'Longhi bean-to-cup models with a filter seat in the tank. It does not fit La Specialista or Dedica, which do not take a tank filter.

How to use it
- Take the filter out of its wrapper and turn the date dial to two months ahead.
- Run tap water into the centre opening until it comes out of the side openings.
- Empty the tank and press the filter firmly into its seat at the bottom.
- Fill the tank with fresh water and put it back.
- Switch the filter on in your machine's menu, and run off a cup of hot water.

Will it fit my machine?
It fits De'Longhi bean-to-cup machines with a filter in the water tank: Magnifica S, Magnifica Evo, Magnifica Start, Dinamica, Rivelia, Eletta, PrimaDonna and Maestosa. It does not fit La Specialista or Dedica.
How often should I change it?
About every two months. Turn the date dial to the month it is due, and switch the filter on in your machine's menu so it reminds you.
Do I still need to descale?
Yes, but less often. A filter slows limescale; it does not stop it. Take the filter out when you descale.
How do I fit it?
Run tap water into the centre of the filter until it flows from the side openings, push it into its seat in the empty tank, fill the tank, then switch the filter on in the menu. Our filter guide has photos of each step.
